Baked & Fried Low-Carb Crispy Asian Chicken Wings

Gear up for the #olympics with these crispy fried Chicken Wings. Extremely low-carb and guilt free.

  • Yields: 12 wings


12 Chicken Wings

1 minced cloves of garlic

1 teaspoon red chilli pepper

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons ginger powder

2 teaspoons sea salt

1 tablespoon Franks Redhot Sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 teaspoon white pepper

4 cups olive oil


1Allow your wings to rest to room temperature

2Grab a zip lock bag and place your wings in with Franks Redhot

3Dump all dry spices into your bag

4Gently massage wings in bag, making sure not to break the skin from the wing

5Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl (15 seconds medium temp setting)

6Slowly mix in melted butter and sesame oil

7Place wings in a glass baking dish at 450 degrees for 15 minutes

8Remove the baking dish and flip each wing

9Bake for an additional 10 minutes

10Add olive oil to a wok and bring to high heat

11Fry in batches of 4, add 1 wing at a time carefully

12Fry for 2 minutes at high heat on each side (use tongs to flip)
