Kale Chips

Quick, crispy, oven baked kale chips!

  • Yields: 1-2 Servings

Ingredients

1/2 a bunch of kale leaves

1/2 tablespoon melted coconut oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chili pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon himalayan sea salt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat

Remove stems from kale and shred leaves into large pieces

Wash and dry leaves throughly

In a large bowl, toss kale with coconut oil (be sure all parts of all the leaves are glistening!)

Add seasonings and spices in with the kale and coconut oil and toss until all leaves are coated

Spread out kale leaves evenly on a baking sheet, be sure to leave a bit of space between each leaf

Bake for 12 minutes and then rotate. Bake for an additional 12 minutes. (24 minutes total)

Allow to cool and enjoy!
